John Gilman: "2017 Le Haut Lieu Demi-Sec from Domaine Huët is excellent on both the nose and
palate, offering up a classic bouquet of quince, apple, chalky soil tones, bee pollen, lanolin and a
topnote of white lilies. On the palate the wine is crisp, full-bodied, focused and complex, with a
lovely core, fine transparency, bright acids and very impressive length and grip on the still quite
youthful finish. This is quite approachable in its early youth, but will no doubt close down into a
dusty and reticent adolescence in a few years and then be quite unapproachable for a decade, but
it looks destined to be quite classically proportioned and will age long and gracefully. 2018-
2020; 2030-2080. 93."
